Server Component Channel Sales Manager - EMEA


The Role:

We are looking for our next team member to join our EMEA Commercial Channel Sales Team, reporting into the Head of EMEA Enterprise Channels. This role is both managing revenue and partner-facing and will be expected to build AMD’s server component channel business across the EMEA region. To be responsible for driving business development with our Distribution and Channel Partners and leading executive relationships, building, and executing sales programs, enabling sales teams through training and evangelising AMD technology

  • Strong experience working the EMEA Distribution, System Integration and Cloud Service Provider Channel
  • An established network within the EMEA Component Channel up to C-Level
  • Have worked alongside market-leading Server ODM manufacturers
  • Either have prior P&L responsibility or experience working with the financial elements of a role driving revenue
  • High level of Data acumen and attention to detail
  • An internal and external relationship builder
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and grow the EMEA Server Component revenue handled through EMEA and local Distributors
  • Achieving Annual Operating numbers for Sell In, Sell Through and managing within business margin metrics
  • Provide weekly forecasts and business status updates to Management
  • Provide short, medium, and long-term forecasts on the business for planning purposes
  • Be an internal point of contact for Commercial Sell-Out and Component Channel sales teams
  • Working closely with AMD Finance and Sales Ops in leading the business
  • Build strong sales relationships within the EMEA region


Preferred Experience:

  • Extensive experience working within the EMEA Component Channel either as a vendor or a distributor
  • Extensive experience in outside sales with the demonstrated success meeting and/or exceeding target goals
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Server and Enterprise solutions
  • Previous Management experience with a proven ability to develop a team while driving team sales and target goals


Academic Credentials:

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
