The Position

The Corporate Vice President, MNC Sales will drive sales and grow market share of AMD products at a strategic multi-national OEM account.  They will develop and lead the account sales team and field resources.  He/she will be responsible for establishing the AMD sales strategy, partnerships and market approach to drive customer relationships and revenue.  Building a strong team and operational leadership skills are key to success in this role.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Define and implement Sell-In, Sell-Through, and Sales-Out strategies and quality account plans that grow revenue base and market share for all AMD products
  • Assess, mentor and grow MNC sales team to drive revenue growth/market share
  • Implement robust sales/technical support process and structure
  • Establish significant “pull” with key MNC customers, partners and end user customers
  • Develop cross-division partnerships to establish synergistic solutions for MNC customers
  • Orchestrate programs, events, messaging, and sales enablement requirements across sales teams (MNC and Regional), BUs, and marketing
  • Executive management reporting and analysis including ensuring consistency with how the results are communicated to management
  • Report Revenue, Consumption, and Sell-Out forecast analysis for all relevant AMD products
  • Pipeline management as required for Commercial and/or Server product lines
  • Develop and execute strategic alliance initiatives with MNC customers to foster collaboration
  • Control regional Opex, Labor and TE specifics
  • Foster relationships with Executive level contacts for MNC accounts

 

 
The Person

The Corporate Vice President, MNC Sales will ideally have the following experience:

  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated success in a comparable role, building and leading winning teams for at least 10 years
  • Strategic Experience: Understanding of CPU and GPU products, customers, and the markets, ramp a fast-growing business
  • Partner Experience: Strong historical relationships and success influencing large multi-national customer organizations
  • Organizational Experience: Demonstrated effectiveness working in a cross-matrix environment
  • Expert sales knowledge in relevant product categories with 15+ years of proven technology sales experience in a dynamic environment
  • Proven experience in developing and successfully executing sales plans

The Corporate Vice President, MNC Sales educational requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or a related discipline.
