Sales Account Representative, Russia (Component Channel) 70331

The Role:

This person will develop a customer relationship with key regional accounts and explore any potential business and technical partnerships in Russia. Engage customer business decision makers and build trusting customer relationships to win designs and business. Responsible for config design win activities, business management, revenue ownership and be on-point to solve complex, highly ambiguous problems independently. This role is based in AMD’s Russia office in Khimki, Moscow region.

 

Primary Purpose:

  • Manage all sales and marketing processes to engage partners in the regions across Russia and grow AMD CPU/GPU market share.
  • Map channel CPU/GPU sales to regional retailers/etailers/SIs. Localize and engage major and fast-growing regional accounts.  
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to grow AMD CPU and GPU market share in regional retailers, etailers and SIs.
  • Create and execute quarterly business plans including sell in targets for each partner.
  • Manage the sales cycles with key MB and AIB partners including monthly/quarterly business reviews and action planning.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the strong AMD product presence on sites and shelves of major regional customers.
  • Responsible for delivering overall business and AMD CPU/GPU product strategy in regional channel.
  • Proactive communication of AMD product plans, positioning, value proposition and pricing to key regional accounts.
  • Interact and work very closely with the rest of the channel team, PR and marketing teams, product team  to provide feedback and needs of regional customers/partners and plan joint actions.
  • Work very closely with AMD distribution sales managers to accurately forecast and plan in-quarter revenue execution and long-term planning.
  • Responsible for internal forecasting, pricing, marketing funds and business reviews.
  • Understands competitor’s product strategy and positioning to ensure success of the PC product in all market segments.

 

Experience/Skills:

  • Prior experience in similar sales-related positions, minimum 1 year.
  • Experience and knowledge of the inner workings of key accounts to work with the influencers, blockers, and decision-makers.
  • Highly Intelligent & Creative: Must have high intellectual bandwidth applicable to an extremely complex and dynamic market. Must be able to think creatively to develop new ideas and solutions that are “out of the box”. Must have an innate curiosity to always question assumptions to try to do things better or smarter.
  • Effective, Persuasive Communicator: Ability to present a compelling business case to internal and external constituencies. Able to win support from and effectively communicate to different constituents (sales, marketing).
  • Relentless Drive for Results-Oriented Success: Must have strong drive to win and achieve incredible results, and in fact, always strive to significantly exceed expectations and goals by a high margin. Hold high standards for quality of work and detail. Very strong focus on achieving business results instead of just completing tasks and responsibilities.
