Job Description


The Commercial Business Development Manager, DACH is responsible for developing and managing AMD's corporate enterprise (CEP) and public sector commercial strategy. This includes, but is not limited to, planning and executing the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy across multiple manufacturers/MNCs (for example, HP, Lenovo etc.). Develop CEP commercial GTM and create pull/GTM programs with key resellers/distributers in DACH and manage CEP GTM budget/resources within AMD guidelines. The primary focus is driving a sell-in and sell-out strategy. Assigned product brands include AMD CPU and APUs. This is a cross-functional and collaborative position, working with global MNC sales teams, marketing managers etc. The position will report into the Manager of EMEA Commercial GTM team.


Key Responsibilities


  • Drive Commercial CEP MNC business in DACH
  • Build/Execute CEP GTM strategy across multiple MNCs
  • Engage with key corporate/enterprise customers
  • Engage with public authorities and develop the public sector
  • Create pull/GTM programs with key CEP resellers/distributers
  • Manage CEP GTM Budget/Resources within AMD guidelines
  • Collaborate with the EMEA Global GAM team to support overall customer requests and needs


Education:  Minimum BS/BA; MS/MA/MBA in sales preferred


Candidate Profile


  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales-related positions, selling server, PC/NB/workstation products
  • Effective, persuasive communicator; ability to present to internal and external customers
  • Relentless ambition for results-oriented success; must have strong drive to win and achieve incredible results
  • Operational excellence, passion and a positive attitude
  • Proven track record of the ability to thrive in a cross-functional team environment
  • Collaborative, consensus-building style, skilled in conflict-resolution, able to motivate and lead across disciplines
  • Fluent in English and German
