Commercial Channel Client Business Development Executive

 

The Role:

We are looking for our next team member to lead AMD’s DACH region commercial channel PC client engagement, sales, and marketing activities to existing partners as well as prospective new partners, often being required to make presentations on AMD’s value proposition that meet or predict their partners' clients’ future needs.

Internally collaborating with regional sales management, marketing & PR, and marketing operations to deliver AMD’s sales and marketing goals and objectives for their accounts. Owning the sales forecasting, pipeline management and data entry into AMD systems, as well as updates, weekly reporting, weekly sales forecast and pipeline changes to the regional sales management team. Accountable for the budgeting and deployment of marketing investment funds and partner programs, ensuring that all communications are within AMD standards of business conduct and financial policies, assessing and analyzing the business implications involved.

  • Successful sales & marketing background in the PC Client space, with a strong network in the commercial channel
  • Fluent German and Advanced English
  • Flexibility to travel within the territory
  • Experience with Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team leader responsibility with direct line management.
  • Develop a pipeline of new business and improve the quality of existing business, planning persuasive pitches and programs that will convince partners & OEM’s to increase business with AMD
  • Use latest market trends and insight to make data driven decisions to identify and target opportunities with differentiated solutions AMD can provide
  • End to end execution of sales forecasting & pipeline management, marketing budgeting, reservation & claims process with our partners
  • Elevate AMD position within existing partner accounts
  • Create and build strong relationships with prospective partners
  • Create customized sales plans and exceed AMD quarterly sales goals
  • Report on the status of accounts and pipeline
  • Collaborate internally & externally with marketing / social teams to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts
  • Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels
  • Develop and monitor performance key indicators for account set
  • Manage sales pipeline management & tracking tools and report on important information
  • Keep record of sales trends
  • Manage the end-to-end marketing claims process (VIR and MDF) with marketing operations teams

 

Preferred Experience:

Proven PC Client experience in similar sales and marketing positions for the Retail/E-tail/Reseller/ OEM business

 

Academic Credentials:

Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Electronic Engineering, Systems Engineering
