Executive Assistant- EMEA


The Executive Assistant to the EMEA sales executives performs a broad variety of administrative support functions for the needs of executive management in the region. The job is characterized by a variety of administrative tasks requiring a general knowledge of the company and the sales division. The ideal candidate is an administrative generalist with a can-do attitude and desire to be part of a fast-growing and exciting international environment. This role is based in the AMD office in Dornach (Ascheim bei München) and reports to the Corporate Vice President Sales, EMEA.


Key Responsibilities Include

  • Manage complex calendars and scheduling for several executives
  • Manage domestic and international travel, including visa preparation
  • Manage expense report coordination and submissions
  • Coordinate signing of documents and subsequent shipping
  • Organize, execute, and assist with team activities (staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, off-sites, and regional social events)
  • Coordinate with other assistants across the region
  • Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items
  • Manage the onboarding process of all new EMEA sales hires
  • Act as a liaison for direct reports and customer admins
  • Work closely with the leadership team and HR to provide support to the organization
  • Prepare correspondence for manager's approval; review outgoing material for accuracy
  • Support the Office Manager as needed to ensure the office maintains a professional standard
  • Maintain confidential files in cooperation with HR
  • Represent the EMEA leadership team in their absence in the office
  • Perform other administrative duties as needed


Candidate Profile

  • Prior experience providing executive support assistance to several senior executives simultaneously
  • Understanding of international work environments and collaborating across cultures
  • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments at any given time
  • Project management experience
  • High levels of integrity and discretion
  • Highly service-oriented and a team player
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Self-starter, motivated, organized individual who is able to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work well in a pressured environment under tight deadlines
  • Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word management skills
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to improve processes
  • Fluent in English (fluent German would be an advantage)
