AMD EMEA is looking for an experienced HR Operations Specialist to work within the HR Department.  This is a permanent position, 40 hours a week, located in Dornach (Munich), Germany.


Major Functions of Role

  • Partner with the staffing team and candidates to gather and submit all new-hire paperwork for monthly payroll input (both soft and hard copies, as needed).
  • Support leavers through exit paperwork and timely input to payroll
  • Host new employee orientation for EMEA.
  • Oversee monthly HR payroll inputs, partnering closely with EMEA payroll on data requirements and cut-off dates.
  • Oversee contractor engagements, educate managers to ensure adherence to local legislation
  • Support HR benefits administrative activities for EMEA; including coordination of benefits inputs to payroll, undertaking quarterly EMEA audits for benefits and global mobility, creating Total Rewards statements annually, coordinating vendor site visits, reconciling benefits vendor invoices, and managing payments for benefits in lieu.
  • Timely and regular creation of reports for multiple stakeholders.
  • Support quarterly audit requirements with finance.
  • Answer EMEA requests as a subject matter expert (Tier 2) through the HR ticketing system, managing further triage to centers of excellence as required.
  • Partner with other HR functions and internal resources to execute HR tasks.
  • Maintain and manage employee files and employment-related documentation and processes in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage employee compliance of the company’s leave policies in accordance with local legislation.
  • Liaise with HR teams on new policies, procedures, services, and systems, and support the execution and delivery to EMEA employees.
  • Ensure country-specific filing of legally-required documentation in coordination with local admins.
  • Evaluate and drive HR process excellence and efficiency throughout the region, sharing best practice with the Americas and Asia teams.
  • Manage EMEA HR SOPs, update in Global Knowledge Base.
  • Support or drive ad-hoc projects as required.



  • Graduate degree in business, HR or social sciences has an advantage.



  • Fully proficient in written and spoken English; Polish or Russian an advantage.
  • Exceptional customer-service focus, including commitment to producing quality results
  • Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a high-paced, changing work environment.
  • Experience with HR systems, SAP or Success Factors an advantage.
  • Prior experience with payroll administration a major advantage.
  • Self-starter, detail-orientated problem solver who will fully execute all tasks.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Comfortable working within a matrix environment.
  • High levels of accuracy, attention to detail & high level of accountability are essential.
  • High level of personal integrity and confidentiality required.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural and cross-functional team.
  • Experience in a corporate/multinational organization desirable.
