GPU Design Modeling Engineer



The focus of the role is responsible for all aspects of modeling on next generation graphics processors, including function and architecture modeling.

  • Work with the Architects, read documentation to understand features and then implement them in C++ to create a reference model for testing
  • Support the Architecture Modeling team by helping them prototype new features for experimentation and look-ahead functionality
  • Supporting the block and Graphics Core Verification team by triaging and debugging failing tests
  • Fix memory leaks, fine tune simulation performance, improve and re-factor C++ code
  • Debugging test failures to determine if it is modeling, or design, or verification test defect, correcting modeling issues and working with the Design/Verification team to correct defects



  • Must be expert in C/C++ and familiar with C++ STL, OOP programming
  • Must be familiar with UNIX environment, compiling with GCC and debugging programs with debugger
  • Must be able to work in both Linux and Windows environments.
  • Should be familiar with Computer Architecture
  • Knowledge of ASIC design verification is a plus
  • Knowledge of Verilog/System Verilog is a plus
  • Good understanding of the Compute Graphics a strong plus



  • BS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • MS degree preferred




The position is located in Orlando, FL
