GPU Power Architect/Lead Engineer

THE ROLE:

A great opportunity to join our GPU power team, working with ground-breaking technologies to deliver premier products to the marketplace.

 

THE PERSON:

  • Strong analytical skills and pronounced attention to details.
  • Must be a self-starter, and able to independently drive tasks to completion.
  • Good collaboration and communications skills

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work within the GPU power team to drive power reduction including estimation, analysis, and optimization, flow setup, and methodology improvements.
  • Collaborate with system architects and designers, define use cases, identify and prototype power and perf-per-watt optimizations.
  • Run performance models and power tools, write scripts, analyze data, and evaluate tradeoffs against project goals.
  • Power management algorithm design and implementation.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Demonstrated ability of 3-5 years proven experience in ASIC power and low-power design techniques.
  • Experience in power analysis and optimization tools (e.g. Ptpx, Power Artist, etc.)
  • Experience in RTL design, simulation, and synthesis.
  • Knowledge in Graphics pipeline architecture is a plus.
  • Scripting language, e.g. Perl, Python, etc.
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills, and well organized.
  • Excellent communication skills.

 

EDUCATION:

  • Major in EE, CS or related, Master Degree with 3+ years or Bachelor with 5+ years working experiences
