CO-OP / INTERN
THE ROLE:
Program Manager (PM) interns is responsible for assisting the PM in the assistance of completion of complex NPI engineering projects involving AMD IP (Silicon, HW, SW, & FW) and partner technologies (Fabric, Storage, Accelerators) to deliver datacenter system solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive engineering program plans from based on PM and engineering technical guidance
- Manage program deliverables and receivables with teams spanning multiple disciplines and geographies
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders in product planning, development, and validation activities
- Coordinate team communications and reviews within the program team
- Track and report status vs. objectives throughout the lifecycle of the program
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, both written and oral
- High attention to detail and good follow through in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with datacenter, server or PC system design, software development, and validation
- Familiarity with testing tools, methodologies, and defect tracking
- Skilled in MS Office & MS Project tool suites, Confluence, MS SharePoint
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree (in progress) in EE, CE, CS or related fields
