Responsibilities:

  • Drive Mobile GPU Pixel Pipe subsystem for low power/ area optimization
  • Review mobile microarchitecture proposals for PPA
  • Work with mobile other subsystem architects/ workload analysis team to drive for better low power APU/ mobile GPU
  • Drive initiatives to improve RTG Silicon design density, frequency, & performance per watt
  • Drive initiatives which will enable Re-Use of key Graphics sub-systems
  • Identify complex technical problems, break them down, summarize multiple possible solutions, and lead the team in the right direction
  • Technical and schedule discussion with multi-site engineers and managers 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Proven leadership in delivering innovative, efficient, high performance mobile GPU pixel pipe subsystem
  • 15+ years ASIC / VLSI experience spanning architecture, performance analysis, RTL, power optimization, implementation, timing convergence, synthesis, placement, routing, circuits, advanced optimization techniques, and silicon debug. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills along with attention to details
  • Proven Program/Project experience which balances trade-offs for complexity, schedule, budget, and silicon cost
  • Strong communication, Time Management, and Presentation Skills
  • Effective Team player who focuses on collaboration, team building, Mentoring, and enabling team successes
  • Experience with CPU / GPU design as well as deep learning/neural network accelerators highly desired
