AMD Cloud, Cloud Business Development Manager


The Business Development Manager in the Cloud Business Group. This individual will be responsible for driving business development at leading cloud customers globally. Specifically: the individual will be responsible for driving cross functional groups and actions through the customer core team.  If you have a passion for excellence and a drive to achieve, you belong at AMD. The ideal candidate will possess a breadth of abilities and skills, including: CPU product knowledge, server architecture awareness, strong marketing and presentation abilities, solid understanding of customers’ business and decision makers, and strong persuasive collaboration skills to craft ground breaking strategies and plans that the team can rally around. Most importantly, you are the business leader driving the strategy, setting direction, defining goals, delineating tactics, and achieving success in all facets.   • Own and be accountable for the cross-functional performance with lead customers
  • End-to-end ownership: ensure that iniatives that are driven at customers go through to completion 
  • Ensuring that both HW, SW and POC programs are each customer are managed through completion
  • Working with business operations that supply is tracked and communicated across cloud
  • Present to senior management and create materals to summarize progress at lead customers
  • Help drive negotiations at leading MDC customers (including China)



  • Demonstrated experience in the semiconductor or computing industry, at the Cloud Provider, OEM, ODM, or Technology Provider level
  • Experience with cloud customers and programs
  • Comfortable interfacing with C-level executives both internally and at customers
  • Highly results driven



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline; Master's preferred
