Sales Account Manager – Cloud Sales

 

The Role:

We are looking for our next team member to drive AMD datacenter sales in the North America cloud and hosting vertical. This role requires a deep understanding of server solutions, and cloud native workloads, and will involve working closely with executive decision makers, datacenter focused OxMs, and system integrators.

This is a highly collaborative sales position requiring direct engagement with end-customers, AMD product marketing, and AMD’s channel partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong executive-level relationships with end-customer decision-makers to understand their needs and to identify projects for datacenter solutions that AMD and our partners can fulfill
  • Drive sales of AMD server products
  • Influence winning strategies for success
  • Define/Execute Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies with global datacenter server providers and local integrators
  • Manage budget/resources within AMD guidelines
  • Manage and update business via Salesforce CRM – on time and accurately

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Proven experience selling datacenter solutions and products
  • Solid understanding of datacenter infrastructure server and storage solutions, software ecosystem, and workloads
  • Proven ongoing direct to end-user experience of selling and influencing

 

Academic Credentials:

BS/BA; MS/MA or MBA preferred

 

Location:

US East Coast preferred, open to any Eastern US city ideally within 1 hour of major airport
