Director Product Management (Gaming) - 100541


The Role: 

The Radeon Director of Product Manager you will own and drive the planning and execution of flagship Gaming GPU products across Desktop and Mobile segments.  You will collaborate with peers to manage optimization adjacent markets.  In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive full end-to-end ownership and delivery of our new GPU products, from Pre-Concept, Concept, Feasibility, Planning through Launch. This is a highly inter-disciplinary role in which you will run and lead the product definition, planning, positioning, and launch. You will engage with HW and SW engineering, Marketing, Operations, Sales, and PR to bring to market sophisticated, class-leading products and technologies.  You with be the face of the program to executive leadership and active externally.  


The Person: 

We are seeking a dynamic individual with the ability to collaborate and influence across multiple levels both inside and outside of AMD, previous experience leading teams preferred. Additionally, this person will possess strong analytical and presentation abilities and knowledge of P&L management. Also, seeking someone who can translate product gaming knowledge into stimulus and inspirational results! 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Solicit, collect, and assemble customer/end-user/market feedback and requirements 
  • Engage and collaborate with key architects, engineering and business partners, gaming domain specialists 
  • Incorporate feedback to product vision, requirements, specifications, critical metrics 
  • Drive attainment of business metrics  
  • Drive the product strategy, execution and GTM plans for GPU products 
  • Create collateral and analyses to support the positioning and launch of said GPU products 
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and PR to drive a successful launch, and evangelize Radeon products and technologies 


Preferred Experience: 

  • Prior experience in Product Marketing, Product Management or Business Development within the high-tech, semiconductor and/or gaming industries
  • Experience working with CPU, discrete GPUs and/or integrated GPUs 
  • Proven customer advocate. Deep experience in collecting voice of customer. 
  • Strong market and industry knowledge and experience for gaming PCs 
  • Experience developing products and solutions for global consumer markets 
  • Demonstrable experience with market analysis and technology road-mapping 
  • Proven track record of innovation 
  • Hands-on experience analyzing, building and communicating business cases 
  • Good understanding of the B2B and B2C business models, and experience with both 
  • Strong self-starter who takes initiative and can work in and through high-pressure environments 
  • PC DIYer or Gamer strongly preferred 
  • Previous experience working directly with Media  
  • Direct customer experience  


Academic Credentials: 

  • BS/MS Engineering (ECE, CS) or suitable equivalent 
  • MBA or equivalent business experience required 



Santa Clara, CA or Toronto, Canada or Austin, TX preferred. Remote work location might be possible
