GPU Design Engineer

The Person:

  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills and pronounced attention to details.
  • Must be a self-starter, and able to independently drive tasks to completion.
  • Good teammate with excellent communications skills

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for crafting and implementing synthesize, power efficient, robust logic designs using high level language like Verilog or SystemVerilog for Design.
  • Responsible for closely working with the verification engineer for feature bring up, debug, simulation, and verification of your RTL design.
  • Collaborate with the Physical Design team to provide better solutions that meet timing requirements and factor in all the tradeoffs (area/power/performance/timing) that are implemented in the design.
  • Responsible for developing and execution of verification test plans at unit level and develop high level language testbench components including drivers, BFMs, behavioral models, monitors, checkers, and stimulus. You will also develop, simulate and debug directed and random stimulus to find bugs in the GPU design and verify the functionality of caches and buffers that are part of the cache and memory subsystem.
  • Responsible for coverage convergence and improving the quality of the design.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Strong understanding of computer architecture and excellent RTL writing skills are required.
  • Experience of cache and memory subsystems.
  • Experience with Verilog/Systems Verilog, debugging and testbench drivers.
  • Solid understanding of GPU design.

 

Academic Credentials:

  • Bachelors or Masters in EE or CE
