THE ROLE:

We are looking for Software Development Engineers for GPU Game Performance Drivers at both junior and senior levels. You will be part of a highly collaborative team that develops driver optimizations and internal perf tools for game graphics performance. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the cutting edge of GPU performance and latest game graphics optimizations.

 

THE PERSON:

Your strong technical skills are complimented by your ability to work independent or as part of a team.  You have strong organization skills and communication skills and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed, global environment.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Investigate game graphics rendering and develop shader optimizations
  • Investigate GPU HW performance issues and optimize through driver changes

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong C/C++ programming skills, such as in coding for fast execution using light weight data structures and efficient algorithms, bit manipulation, pointer, array, class, virtual function, etc.
  • Research or project experience in hardware performance, with clear understanding of GPU hardware performance architecture such as regarding GPU execution model, threads, waves, SIMD, registers, cache, cost/performance trade-off, performance metrics such as latency, bandwidth, throughput, and etc.
  • Research or project experience in game graphics rendering, with clear understanding of GPU graphics pipeline, such as stages from vertices, textures, to rasterization, shading, screen space pixel depth and color, and techniques such as forward and deferred shading, anti-aliasing, culling, ray tracing DXR optimization, HLSL and DXIL or similar GPU high level or assembly languages.

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelors’ degree or higher in relevant discipline
