GPU Performance Modeling Developer


  • A great opportunity to join our GPU performance team, working with ground-breaking technologies to deliver premier products to the marketplace.
  • Develop our performance prediction model using performance counters from previous architecture and bottleneck models. You would work in a team of people and gather HW performance data and integrate it into a new model to predict performance of compute based applications using the ROCm infrastructure.



  • Strong analytical skills and pronounced attention to details.
  • Must be a self-starter, and able to independently drive tasks to completion.
  • Good collaboration and communications skills



  • Excellent knowledge of: C, C++, C#, Python, perl and generic scripting languages.
  • Demonstrated ability with 3-5 years proven experience in related HW and SW infrastructure organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to be self-driven and work well in a team. Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills, well organized.
  • Work within the GPU performance architecture team to develop performance prediction model for compute (Machine Intelligence) based applications.
  • Collaborate with system architects and designers, define use cases, identify and prototype performance models.



  • Knowledge in GPU pipeline architecture and/or drivers.
  • Knowledge of compute related applications and flows
  • Web coding (HTML, javascript, etc)
  • Familiarity with GPU scripting and automation experience from working in HW lab
  • Knowledge of ASIC power and low-power design techniques.



  • Major in EE, CS or related, Master Degree with 3+ years or Bachelor with 5+ years working experiences
