Computer Vision and Deep Learning Software Engineer
THE ROLE:
At AMD ATG, we are working on cutting-edge technologies and performing in a startup environment. we are looking for talented engineers who has the passion to solve tough problems in the areas of computer vision and image post processing.
THE PERSON:
ATG Team is looking for computer vision expert to develop our long-term platform vision, which will have significant impact for AMD, and the future of our products.
In this role, you will lead the definition of forward-looking projects and novel system concepts to significantly impact AMD’s future product portfolio.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research and development of innovative computer vision concepts for camera and video applications.
- Prototyping and testing of new product concepts.
- Profile, analyze, optimize, and deploy new concepts to AMD APU, CPU and GPUs
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Strong knowledge in computer vision, such as denoise, HDR, 3D reconstruction. Familiarity with open source vision libraries is preferred.
- Good understanding of developing deep learning models using neural network frameworks
- Proficiency and practical experiences in programming, e.g. C, C++, Python, or MATLAB, OpenCV, and developing in Linux or windows
- Initiative and ability to lead research projects and implementation of research results in industrial environment
- Passion for innovation, problem solving & entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong team player with autonomous and efficient working style, great communication skills
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Excellent Master degree or PhD, in the field of computer science, electrical engineering, physics, or related
