Marketing Programs Manager, Data Center


This is a high-visibility role in the AMD marketing organization. You will manage the execution of major outbound marketing programs and initiatives for our fast-growing data center business. This role combines strategic program management, internal communication with worldwide marketing stakeholders, project management, resource management, and process excellence – helping the whole marketing team work together on our most important projects for both EPYC™ and Instinct™ brands.

The person:

You are a technology marketer with strong knowledge in a wide range of marketing vehicles to orchestrate marketing plans that leverage multiple marketing outreach channels. You are inquisitive and resourceful, see both the strategic big picture and execute against details, and enjoys identifying opportunities to improve and drive change to advance marketing at AMD.


Key responsibilities:

  • Manage data center marketing projects and initiatives end-to-end from scoping to execution and measurement; create and enforce unified calendar and milestones
  • Define and implement roles and responsibilities for all major projects
  • Create prioritized strategies, timelines, and action plans with regular updates and proactively communicate with stakeholders
  • Oversee project status and reporting to program/project lead
  • Closely collaborate across marketing functions to ensure the development and delivery of the most effective and efficient programs
  • Work cross-functionally with a wide variety of groups including regional marketing, PR/comms, web/digital, creative and production, events and more
  • Find new opportunities to improve performance through measurements and data-validated insights


Preferred experience:

  • 5+ years program management experience in outbound marketing with a track record of successfully executing on multifaceted projects
  • Motivated self-starter who thrives in complex, fast-paced, milestone-driven environment
  • Ability to initiate tasks and work independently, with strong attention to detail
  • Strong project management, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, with strong ability to prioritize and complete multiple work streams
  • General understanding of marketing strategies and tactics – including content marketing, paid media, product launches, geo marketing, targeted campaign, lead gen
  • Previous similar B2B technology marketing experience preferred
  • Strong writing and editing skills desired
  • Agency experience supporting technology/B2B clients a plus


Academic credentials:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar
