The GPU Data Center team is looking for an experienced Program Manager who is passionate about taking on new challenges in driving end to end customer engineering programs for customer success. You will work with cross functional teams to identify their time lines in order to derive your time lines for customer delivery and success. Drive efficiency with a mindset of Lean Program/Project Management by maximizing value while minimizing waste.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Coordinate program delivery between local and overseas (various time zones) teams
  • Build up a collaborative relationship by partnering with various stake holders
  • Schedule regular meetings with various teams to develop forecast, deployment plans and fulfillment strategies for data center hardware & server needs for engineering, testing, validation and Customer
  • Own capacity planning for the data center - track incoming requests for hardware, create a system for time based allocation and sharing of resources, forecast, logistics
  • Drive various sub-programs eg: Data Center Tools Engineering, Data Center Operations, DevOps and Customer Solution Testing
  • Ensure and drive completions of all committed tasks and deliverables
  • Run daily stand-ups and bring teams into an agile cadence of frequent iterations
  • Identify and install innovative tools and strategic approaches
  • Continuously evaluate priorities as new requests are made, by surfacing trade-offs, analyzing risks and aligning with Engineering and Product Management
  • Manage and develop delivery metrics
  • Always maintain dashboards on current status and risks for projects and deliverables (own a Space in Confluence, Jira Projects to track Kanban / Agile boards)

 

Qualifications

 

  • Masters degree in technical field
  • 7+ years Project Management experience in industry, with track record of using industry accepted methodologies and processes (eg: Agile)
  • Good presentation and leadership skills; with ability to lead technical discussions
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in managing complex, interrelated projects, programs, and functions
  • Team player with a commitment to meeting deadlines and an aptitude to thrive in a fast paced multi-tasking environment
  • Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) such as Program Increments, Lean, Kanban, Shared Understanding would be a plus
  • Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, Project 2016, Jenkins & Robot Frameworks
  • PMP / Agile certification is a plus
  • Experience in program managing systems engineering and data center IT (ServiceNow etc) is a plus
  • Awareness in Machine Learning frameworks (TensorFlow, Caffe, pyTorch etc) is a plus
  • Awareness in Virtualization frameworks (Linux KVM,  etc) is a plus
  • Awareness in Containerization frameworks (Docker, Kubernetes etc) is a plus
