TITLE: Embedded Processor Engineer

 

THE ROLE: This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team that develops next generation of high speed IO Controllers. This role entails integrating new processors into future designs.

  • Work is performed with limited supervision. Strong sense of task scheduling and deliver on time as per committed milestones.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Embedded processor selection, configuation and integration into IP based on architectural requirements.
  • Design, implement and validate firmware on the embedded processor.
  • Conduct design reviews in technical presentations to peers and management.
  • Oversee Synthesis and netlist delivery that meets timing, area and power boundaries.
  • Work with Design Verification team to ensure quality for architecture definition and design implementation.

 

PREFERRED SKILL SETS & EXPERIENCE :

  • Strong knowledge in computer architecture and interconnects.
  • Strong experience in Embedded processor design and integration.
  • Experience in full ASIC design cycle: requirements definition, architectural and micro-architectural specification, RTL, design verification, floor-planning, synthesis, timing closure, post-silicon validation
  • Expertise with Verilog RTL design and experience of large digital ASIC project.
  • Familiarity with front-end EDA tools and flows.
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux and scripts (tcl, perl, ruby and etc.)

 

EDUCATION : MS or BS in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering/ Computer Science
