The Sales Account Manager will own end-user relationships with Cloud and Service providers in the Bay Area to drive sales of the AMD data center portfolio.  The account manager will work in tight collaboration with AMD's OEM and ODM sales teams within North America. He/she will be responsible for executing the AMD sales-out strategy, partnerships and market approach to drive sales of AMD platforms based on the EPYC brand.

Should demonstrate:
• An intense drive to “win,” combined with sound business perspective
• High level of confidence, maturity and integrity
• Open communication style and presence to work effectively at the C-level
• Honest and trustworthy in dealings with internal/external customers, colleagues and stakeholders
• Ability to listen to the customer and articulate the customer’s needs internally

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement sales-out strategies that grow revenue base and market share
• Be the face of AMD to all key customers in the assigned region

• Identify customer challenges and insert a compelling AMD value proposition to address challenges
• Establish significant “pull” with key Cloud Service Providers so they are advocating AMD products back to their suppliers
• Business relationship with major OEM, ODMs, and related Distributors / Partners / Resellers


Preferred Experience:
He/She will ideally have the following attributes:
• Demonstrated success in a comparable roles, developing strong customer relationships which have led to sales success
• An established background in technology sales with at least 5 years of progressive experience
• Strong historical interaction and relationships with key customers and OEMs (i.e. Dell, HP, HPE, Lenovo)
• Demonstrated effectiveness working in a cross-matrix organization

• Thrives in an autonomous environment

Academic Credentials
• Undergraduate degree or higher is preferred
