Sales Manager – Major Hyperscale Account

 

The Role:

We are looking for our next team member to manage, grow and build relationships with one of the most dynamic data center customer in the world. This role will be front and center to not only lead all aspects of tactical execution, but also help build partnerships with end customer and ecosystem partners not limited to OEM and ODMs. Managing and deploying internal resources with cross-matrix teams and reporting progress to management will be a critical function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement sales-in strategies that grow revenue base and market share for the business
  • Support core infrastructure and enterprise teams with their needs and provide feedback into BU/Engineering
  • Build a robust operational execution plan and make sure it runs efficiently
  • Work with AMD Business Unit teams to drive product strategy and development into procurement and engineering teams at the customer
  • Find ways to provide opportunities and cultivate executive relationships to become highly reliable partner for our customer
  • Close collaboration with cross-matrix teams to ensure value propositions that meet the needs of our customer.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Customer: Experience working with Cloud Service Provider (CSPs)/Hyperscale accounts in infrastructure capacity
  • Sales: Have experience in developing a new customer or stream of revenue for existing customer (Preferred: CSP/MSP)
  • Technical Knowledge: Understand fundamentals of Infrastructure and Server components ecosystem.
  • Collaboration: Proven success in a comparable role and demonstrated efficiency in working in cross-matrix organization
  • Adaptable: Proven ability to adapt to internal and customer culture, while having the confidence to influence cross functional team and customers to new ideas that create win-win partnerships

 

Academic Credentials:

University degree or equivalent experience
