Senior Channel Business Development Executive (VAR – West)

 

The Role:

We are looking for our next team member to build AMD’s business across our complete commercial portfolio in direct partnership with our VAR channel partners in the Western US region. In this partner facing role, this seasoned leader must successfully manage a variety of strategic OEM partner relationships with a strong ability to influence senior level management

 

The Person:

· Proven success in comparable roles, developing strong VAR partner and customer relationships which have led to sales success

· Comfortable presenting to different audiences; partners, customers and business executives

· Willing to travel up to 50% of the time

 

Key Responsibilities:

· Build and nurture direct relationships with select colleagues at all levels of our VAR channel partners from Account Management up to executive leadership

· Promote AMD products and technologies

· Deliver AMD unit and revenue targets on a quarterly and annual basis

· Build and maintain relationships with strategic OEM partners to align GTM programs and goals

· Acquire and analyze sales reporting to recognize trends and steer financial and human resources to improve growth and return on investment

· Develop, grow and manage a pipeline of sales opportunities in partnership with strategic OEM colleagues

· Work in collaboration with AMD and OEM partner colleagues to develop quarterly marketing plans aligned to sales targets

· Provide internal feedback to help build the accurate marketing collateral and sales tools vital to educate the VAR channel on the benefits of partnering with and selling AMD-based products and solutions

 

Preferred Experience:

· Strong historical interaction and relationships with VAR channel partners and strategic OEMs (Dell/HPE/Lenovo/Supermicro)

· An established background in technology business development/sales with at least 8+ years of dynamic experience

 

Academic Credentials:

· Degree or equivalent experience
