Senior Product Marketing Manager, Independent Software Vendors ISVs

 

THE ROLE:

AMD is looking for a passionate product marketing manager with a track record of successfully collaborating with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) on joint solution enablement and joint Go-To-Market Marketing activities. As a senior member of the AMD Server Business Unit team, you will work with strategic ISV partners to define and enable optimized solutions and jointly develop marketing plans to drive adoption of AMD EPYC CPUs.

 

THE PERSON:

The ideal candidate is a dynamic product marketing manager who has successfully developed relationships with ISV’s to help drive business growth. This person must be able to cultivate relationships with partners, align with partners on joint solutions, and drive joint marketing activities. As the owner of the solution, the person must drive business-centric decisions with AMD and partner engineering leadership, business executives, and marketing.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish and manage partnerships with Datacenter Independent Software Vendors (ISVs).
  • Be a domain knowledge expert in the area of Databases and Data Analytics
  • Establish joint solutions with ISV partner and maintain strong roadmap alignment and work with engineering teams to develop joint value proposition.
  • Develop marketing plans jointly with ISV partners. Identify marketing activities by quarter and track and monitor progress and completion. Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to meet established Return on Investment (ROI) metrics.
  • Create collateral and proof points with ISV partners to highlight AMD products.
  • Collaborate with ISVs and server OEMs/Cloud hyperscale partners on joint solution marketing activities as needed.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and PR to evangelize AMD+ ISV partner solutions and technologies

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 5-7 years of ISV partner ecosystem and product marketing experience in the data center
  • Must have demonstrated experience developing partnerships
  • Working knowledge of data center CPU’s is desired
  • Experience working with Datacenter Database and Data Analytics ISV’s such as Oracle, Microsoft, SAP, is a plus.

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Engineering or Business University degree required
  • MBA preferred
