TITLE : Serdes Verification Engineer

 

THE ROLE :

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a verification environment to verify serdes (PHY)  used for next generation of AMD products.

We are looking for a logic designer for a mixed signal group developing differentiating IP for AMD's processor and graphic products. Candidate should have the following skills:

 

THE PERSON :

Will work well with others in a team environment. Strong Communication skills to communicate technical details with team members both on-site and remotely especially in technical presentations

 

RESPONSIBILTIES :

  1. Technical leadership for serdes verification.
  2. Work closely with design and architecture teams to scope the verification tasks and make it happen.
  3. Responsible for all aspects of verification including RTL verification, formal verification, coverage.
  4. Analog-digital co-simulations.
  5. Ensure that design is bug free.
  6. Post silicon support.


PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & SKILL SETS :

 

1. Hands-on experience in UVM, System Verilog logic, Verilog design and verification
2. Hands-on experience in Formal Verification and related tools
3. Hands-on experience with low power design and power analysis flows
4. Familiar with languages like Perl, C/C++ etc
5. Work well with others in a team environment

Title : Design Verification Engineer

 

The Role : Verification Engineer to join a mixed signal group developing differentiating IP for AMD's processor and graphic products.

 

The Person : Will be able to effectively communicate technical details with team members both on-site and remotely along with conducting design reviews through techncial presentations to peers and management. Somebody who would be able to work well in a team environment.

 

Responsibilities :

Design Verificaton for mixed signal IP verification using high speed protocols such as : PCIe, PHY, USB and SATA. Position will entail developing test benches, analog & mixed signal simulations and debugguing. The test benches will be written in UVM and system verilog

 

Preferred Skill sets & Experience :

2. Hands-on experience in UVM, System Verilog logic, Verilog design and verification
3. Hands-on experience in Formal Verification and related tools
4. Hands-on experience with low power design and power analysis flows
5. Familiar with languages like Perl, C/C++ etc

6. SERDES (PCIe, SATA, USB) experience, high level understanding of analog and mixed signal circuits, and experience with mixed signal simulators

 

EDUCATION :

BS or MS in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science with focus on Logic Design, Computer Architecture and industry experience in Design Verification.
