Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for development of test suites that ensure enterprise quality for AMD’s software compute stack. You will work closely with other software and hardware engineers and architects. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the cutting edge of GPU compute technologies.

  • Define test strategies, create test plans, collaborate with leads, architects and peers for test plan reviews
  • Execute test plans and report test progress and critical issues throughout the testing cycle
  • Enforce quality through automation, and promote test driven development
  • Thrive in a fast-paced agile environment

 

Requirements: 

  • BS (MS preferred) degree in Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in quality engineering involving large complex systems
  • Solid knowledge of programming (eg, Python, C or C++)
  • Good understanding of Linux / Windows internals and Server systems
  • Good experience with system-level debugging and test automation tools/frameworks
  • Familiar with Virtualization and Containers
  • Knowledge of GPUs, Machine-Learning, and High-Performance-Computing, is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and within diverse teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
