THE ROLE:

We are hiring software development engineers to be part of a highly collaborative driver team focusing on GPU performance for game graphics.

 

THE PERSON:

You have good C++ coding skills and project experience in shader programming and hardware performance. You are passionate about GPU performance for game graphics.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Investigate GPU performance through traces and profiling tools such as Microsoft PIX and AMD performance tools
  • Implement experiments and optimizations in driver in C++ and shaders in HLSL and etc. 

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Good experience in graphics shader and rendering optimizations
  • Good understanding of GPU SIMD execution model, threads, waves, registers, cache, performance metrics such as latency, bandwidth, throughput and relation to underline hardware, etc.
  • Good understanding of GPU graphics pipeline and stages, from vertices, rasterization, shading, textures, screen space, depth, culling, forward and deferred shading, ray tracing, etc.
  • Strong C/C++ programming skills for fast execution using light weight data structures and efficient algorithms, bit manipulation, pointers, arrays, classes, virtual functions, etc.

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • PhD, Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience
