Sr. GPU Graphics Performance and Driver Development Engineer

 

We are looking for game graphics performance and GPU optimization engineers. You will be part of the core driver development team with a focus on GPU graphics performance optimizations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a mission-critical team making the latest games run great on AMD hardware.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Skill in writing high quality and optimal C/C++ code, such as in coding for fast execution using light weight data structures and efficient algorithms, bit manipulation, pointer, array, class, virtual function, and etc.
  • Clear understanding of GPU hardware performance, such as regarding GPU execution model, threads, waves, SIMD, registers, cache, cost performance trade-off, and etc.
  • Clear understanding of GPU hardware graphics pipeline, such as stages from vertices, textures, rasterization, to screen space pixel depth and color, preferably with knowledge/experience in some of these areas: 3D graphics rendering and shader algorithms, techniques such as forward and deferred rendering, anti-aliasing, culling, and etc.
  • Bachelor's degree with relevant experience, Master’s degree or PhD is a plus

 

Preferred Experience

  • More senior level of positions available for qualified candidates with multiple years of experience in game graphics with thorough understanding of low level GPU hardware performance micro architecture
