Role & Responsibilities

  • AMD Global Customer Care is based in Shenzhen China and supports AMD’s customers (consumers) using AMD’s products. (Graphics and Processors)
    • This team supports the Asia-Pacific region including China
  • The Team consists of 6-10 outside service agents, who manage the day to day customer interactions.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Manage day to day activities of China customer care team: technical and warranty support for regions including Greater China, Asia-Pacific
    • Maintain and ensure high levels of customer service in all customer interactions
    • Create / author and maintain online support content on AMD.cn to enable customer self-service
    • Work cross functionally to insure warranty process SLA adherence
    • Handle customer complaints/escalations in a professional manor. (customer-facing soft skills are critical)
    • Accurately represent the customers’ true voice to drive and deliver customer focused improvements
    • Drive solutions across the global organization. (Good English communication is critical)
      • Customer escalation resolution
      • Product/service improvement recommendations
    • Staff Recruitment from outside services supplier
    •  

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • 2-3 years team lead experience
  • Technical background in the pc industry
  • Presentation and leadership skills with ability to lead discussions in English & Chinese
  • Excellent Customer facing skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Good command of the English language in verbal and written communication
  • Good command of oral and written Japanese is preferred
