Business Process Improvement Manager



The Business Process Improvement Manager will lead and conduct project management activities related to Global Operations projects. The Global Operations team projects include all functional organizations within the Global Operations organization. This person will ensure that projects are conducted in accordance with best practice PMO concepts and methodologies. Further responsible for driving positive change, innovation and efficiency through the PM team. Lastly, build an outstanding PM team through continuous structured organizational reviews!



The candidate will be evaluated based upon the relative achievement of the following measures and other standards mutually agreed upon:

  • Return on Investment achievement across individually managed projects and PMO team ROI achievement
  • Risk mitigation and management (individual and team)
  • Project key milestone achievement (individual and team)
  • Organizational efficiency and innovation as indicated by improvements in project volume/success

  • Serve as the passionate leader and voice of the Project Management team. Advocate for team tools and other resources.
  • Implementation of PMO phased approach across the Global Operations projects. Re-engineering of process flows, engineering of new process implementations.
  • Implementation of Lean Six Sigma methodologies across Global Operations projects.
  • Coaching and mentoring team members to improve cross-functional, multi-level (organizational hierarchy project participation)
  • Management and evaluation of project financial and revenue impacts/returns and meet stated ROI.
  • Individual hands on management of select projects.
  • Structure and execute complex analysis, draw insights, and communicate summary findings/recommendations to senior management both project and organizational.



  • >5 years of progressively responsible project management Lean Six Sigma experience
  • A PMP certification and/or LSS belt certification is necessary for this role.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • ISO certification program expertise relative to automotive industry quality standards
  • Proficiency in design / re-design process engineering
  • Ability to network, build relationships, and drive effective decision-making across multiple functions and levels within the organization



  • Bachelors'/ Masters' Degree in a technical field
