SMTS Silicon Design Engineer



  •  The candidate will work with internal teams (Design, Architecture, and New Product Introduction) and foundry in intensively involving advanced CMOS technology node (3nm, 2nm, and beyond) process development, Si characterization and process technology definition.
  • The candidate will independently support internal teams in 6nm and beyond product debug and production ramp up including design enablement and tapeout support.
  • The candidate will support stacked device technology development and test vehicle data characterization with foundry and internal teams.

  • Support N3E technology NPI
  • The first 3 month à get familiar with AMD’s culture, working teams, and supporting infrastructures.
  • The first 6 month à start to join x-functional teams’ working meeting and independently handle actions assigned.
  • The first year à be able to initiate new tasks and complete them.



  • Semiconductor fab process hand-on experience 10+ years, process integration is preferred.
  • New product introduction experience in advanced node (6nm and beyond) > 3 years
  • Background knowledge in advanced CMOS process and/or 3D device technology preferred



  • M.S. required, PH. D preferred
  • Major in Electrical Engineering, Material Science and Engineering, or related filed
