Senior Reliability Engineer (HTOL Reliability Engineering)



Quality & Reliability team drives quality rigor across all phases of microprocessors manufacturing to meet or exceed customer expectations. To achieve this, we need to establish industry-leading equipment, reliability engineering with foundry technology expertise & reliability modeling for innovative AMD products that use advanced 5-7nm and multi-chip/ 2.5D/ 3D/ wafer-level fanout package constructions.


The primary activity of the Singapore Reliability Lab is the reliability stress testing of the silicon and package where the execution of reliability qualifications is carried out. Development activities such as reliability margin assessments above POR stress conditions to identify fab technology marginalities, test program development & debug and test board design and validation are also an integral part of the work done in Singapore. The Global AMD Ongoing Reliability Monitoring program is also managed by the Singapore Lab. 


Singapore team comprises of dedicated & experienced PMETs with experience in semiconductor Fab, Test, Assembly, Packaging and Reliability.


We are expanding & currently looking for an experienced candidate for executing reliability stress tests.



We are currently seeking an energetic, highly motivated, team member and detail- oriented Silicon Reliability Engineer. The ideal candidate will join a highly successful and growing team of engineers working with some of the area most advanced technology projects!



  • Drive qualification plans, schedules, meetings, reports, conference calls, communications with offshore factories and reliability labs.
  • Support the design, development, and validation of reliability stress hardware & software infrastructures. 
  • Highly involve in hands-on reliability testing execution and debug such as High Temperature Operating Life (HTOL) test program development under MCC burn-in system platform.
  • Coordinate debug and failure analysis of reliability failures and drive failures to root cause and corrective action. 
  • Support in publish qualification reports and all relevant documentation both internally and with end customers. 



  • Good Knowledge and experience of fab processes, semiconductor physics, packaging technologies, silicon and package reliability mechanisms and industry standard test methodologies such as JEDEC.
  • Experience with Technology, Silicon Reliability, product testing and failure analysis methods and result interpretation.
  • Good knowledge with manufacturing assembly flow and product test flow.
  • Strong communication (verbal & written) and collaboration skills to work with people from a variety of technical backgrounds.



  • Master or Bachelors’ degree in Physics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or equivalent with > 5 years proven experience.
  • A Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) qualification will be preferably.
  • A certified programming certification such as PCAP (Certified Associate in Python Programming) will be an added advantage.
