Datacenter Business Development Executive-67823


The Role: The Datacenter Business Development Executive is responsible for driving AMD datacenter sales in the region, engaging with executive decision makers at IT end-user customers to grow AMD Epyc and Radeon Instinct business. This will include working closely with multiple multinational datacenter server OEMs (HPE, Dell, SuperMicro, Cisco, +…), local server integrators, and their reseller/distributor channels that serve end-user customers. This is a highly collaborative position, working with datacenter end-user customers and channels, as well as AMD’s global multinational datacenter server OEM Account Sales, Marketing, and Channel teams.


Specific Responsibilities

  • Account Manage key corporate/enterprise, public sector, and cloud datacenter end-user customers
  • Drive sales of AMD Epyc and Radeon Instinct based server and datacenter solutions
  • Develop strong executive-level relationships with IT end-user decision-makers to understand their needs, and translate those into directions for relevant AMD business units and other teams to enable wins
  • Define/Execute Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies with multinational datacenter server OEMs and local integrators
  • Drive GTM programs and activities with key resellers/distributors in region
  • Manage budget/resources within AMD guidelines


Education: BS/BA; MS/MA or MBA preferred


Experience & Skills

  • 5+ Years of Experience in sales related positions for datacenter server products
  • Solid knowledge of datacenter infrastructure server and storage solutions, software ecosystem, and workloads
  • Persuasive communicator with the ability to present and influence customer and internal executive decision makers
  • Relentlessly focused on results-oriented success - must have strong drive to win and achieve incredible results
  • Operational excellence, passion and positive attitude
  • Proven track record in sales with ability to thrive in a cross-functional team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills – should be collaborative, motivating, and able to lead across organizational boundaries
  • Fluent English required. One or more Nordic languages a distinct advantage.
