Product Development Engineer (Yield)

THE ROLE:

Product (Yield) Development Engineer To play an import role of improving yield and optimizing cost of AMD products, have chance to involve in advanced processor development technology, data analysis and test method, and work with “world class” semiconductor engineering teams all over the world

THE PERSON:

The person who’s got passion and interest in semiconductor especially in microprocessor field, fast- learner and with good communication skillsets, the person who ‘s creative, think out of the box.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify yield opportunity on device, hardware, software, process, etc. manage and  drive sort and TMP yield improvement
• New product ramp up on-site support and manufacturing related fail improvement
• Device performance management and top market segment distribution optimization
• Deliver pack out related engineering solution (wafer/diebank priority, material cheery pick etc)
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Effective communication skills in English
• At least 2 years’ experience of product/yield engineering in semiconductor field
• Experience with data analysis tool (JMP and etc)
• Basic programming/ATE test knowledge is preferred
• Basic fab process knowledge is preferred

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• B/S degree or above in Electric Engineering/Computer Science or related is desired
