The role:
We are looking for our next team member to join global account management team to support field engineering engagement. To support our biggest OEM partner to sustain current business scale and expand our business line by engaging with the customers demonstrating how AMD technology can support the needs of their business. To provide technical support for the key OEM account with a special focus on pre-sales and development support activity as opportunities transition from feasibility, design win, development and all the way to production phases.
Job Descriptions:
- Working with customers, internal design teams and ODM to evaluate design tradeoffs and optimize design performance/ risk/ cost/ manufacturability
- Working with internal client and graphic BU team regarding to customers' feedback, product planning and design strategy.
- Working with customers and internal engineering team on E2E management of customers' program from POR features, spec, schedule, execution and all the way to shipment.
- Daily support to customers' requests/issues including roadmap update, benchmark analysis, technical issues support, etc.
- Crisis management on schedule push-out, field quality issues, shortage/qualification, etc.
Job Requirements:
- Broad experience of PC/graphic industry, which including technical (EE/Thermal/ Mechanical/Commoditites), quality management, market understanding, etc.
- Good oral and written communication skills in Mandarin and English; Success in building strong relationships (internal: Architecure and engineering and external: OEM, ODM and 3rd party supplier)
- Excellent problem-solving, time-management, prioritization, and organizational skills, able to lead complex problems, involving multi-disciplined, multi-functional teams and many priorities at once.
- Team player. Be able to share knowledge, learn from others, and support other groups within an organization
Academic credentials:
- Engineering undergraduate degree
- MBA preferred
