NPS Lab Technical Program Manager

Critical technical program management role leading Net Promoter Score test planning, implementation, and management. Candidate must have a customer-centric, solution-oriented, and an analytical mindset to develop plans and reports that are organized and simple to understand. As Technical Program Manager, candidate will proactively work with engineering leaders to create new test items, processes, change existing processes, and support the planning and implementation of new or improvement test items.



  • Owns NPS testing planning, execution and reporting (battery life, performance, acoustics, thermal, OOBE, etc.)
  • Work cross-functionally (both internally and externally) to implement feedback loops at appropriate trigger points in customer platform development cycle
  • Ensure customer platform NPS test items are well defined and understood before project kick off / design start
  • Primary point of contact for internal teams for Customer Engineering NPS status
  • End-to-end coordination of NPS planning, execution, and management across all AMD functional teams and Customers
  • Must be well-organized, technically-oriented, and a self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and coordinate the activities of geographically distributed technical teams



  • Product development with hardware platforms and related software ecosystem. Specific experience in x86 solutions preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to grasp new technical concepts quickly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to influence horizontally across multiple internal functional organizations.
  • Excellent analytical, project planning, and management skills.
  • Quickly adapt to dynamic business and technical requirements
  • Business savvy; ability to think strategically and make intelligent technical vs business trade-off recommendations.
  • Skilled in interfacing with customers, partners and in managing joint-development projects.
  • Energized by working in a fast-paced matrixed technical organization and multi-site environment
  • Outstanding people management skills to lead, motivate, and guide geographically distributed technical teams
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
