Commercial System Integrator Business Development Executive (BDE)

THE ROLE:

The BDE will own end-user relationships to drive sales of the entire AMD portfolio.  The BDE will work in tight collaboration with the End Customers, VARs, System Integrators and distribution to help drive OEM sales in Japan. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing the AMD sales strategy -  including partnerships and market approach to drive large enterprise, corporate, and SMB sales of AMD platforms across PC client, server, cloud, workstation/graphics, and thin client.

 

THE PERSON:

The BDE should demonstrate the following characteristics:

  • Solid understanding of key System Integrators Cycle and Programs
  • Demonstrated track record winning multimillion dollar business working with System Integrators and Corporate resellers across several verticals: FSI, Telecom, Manufacturing, Public, SMB and others
  • An intense drive to “win,” combined with sound business perspective
  • High level of confidence, maturity and integrity
  • Open communication style and presence to work effectively at multiple levels, from salespeople to senior management
  • Honest and trustworthy in dealings with internal/external customers, colleagues and stakeholders
  • Ability to listen to the customer and articulate the customer’s needs internally

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver on AMDs revenue, unit and market share goals
  • Manage a detailed forecast & multiple quarter pipeline (SFDC)
  • Implement go-to-market and sales-out strategies that grow revenue base and market share
  • Be the face of AMD to all key customers in the assigned regions
  • Build/Execute, in partnership with AMD Marketing, GTM strategy across key System Integrators and partners
  • Identify customer challenges and insert a compelling AMD value proposition to address challenges
  • Ideally have existing relationships with key System Integrators, VAR, resellers and Distributors.
  • Strong historical interaction and relationship with Partner Sales team of key OEM’s (For example Fujitsu, NEC, HPE, Dell, HPi, Lenovo and others)
  • Build confidence and awareness around AMD offerings within the sales teams at key OEMs and resellers such as CTC, NTT DATA, SCSK, Ricoh and others
  • Business relationship with ecosystem partners such as Microsoft, VMWare, Google, Nutanix and others.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

The BDE will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Demonstrated success in a comparable role, developing strong customer relationships which have led to sales success
  • An established background in technology sales with progressive experience
  • Previous experience working with Key System Integrators and partners for NTT Docomo, KDDI, SoftBank, Rakuten
  • Ideally also have previous experience working with OEMs and System Integrators such as Fujitsu, NEC, HPE, Dell, HPi, Lenovo, CTC, NTT DATA, SCSK, Ricoh and others 
  • Demonstrated effectiveness working in a cross-matrix organization
  • Thrives in an autonomous environment

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Undergraduate degree as a minimum
