The Insides Sales BDE will be focusing on acquisition of new customers as well as development of existing end-user customers into named accounts to drive sales of the entire AMD portfolio.  The Inside Sales BDE will work in tight collaboration with the End Customers, VARs, SIs and distribution to help drive OEM sales in Japan. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing the AMD sales strategy including partnerships and market approach to drive large enterprise, corporate, and SMB sales of AMD platforms across Server, Client Branded Systems and Cloud Solutions.



The Inside Sale BDE should demonstrate the following characteristics:

• An intense drive to “win,” combined with sound business perspective

• High level of confidence, maturity and integrity

• Open communication style and presence to work effectively at multiple levels, from salespeople to senior management

• Honest and trustworthy in dealings with internal/external customers, colleagues and stakeholders

• Ability to listen to the customer and articulate the customer’s needs internally



  • Acquisition of new customers and Development of existing customers into named accounts
  • Lead generation and follow up in partnership with AMD Marketing, GTM strategy across multiple distributors and partners
  • Territory Planning. Selling support for AMD channel and OEM partners
  • Manage Partner Incentives and training
  • Customer Maintenance: Seed and POC (proof of concept) unit management, secure case studies and referrals.
  • Deliver on AMDs revenue, unit and market share goals
  • Manage a detailed forecast & multiple quarter pipeline (SFDC)
  • Be the face of AMD to all key customers in the assigned regions and voice of the customer feedback
  • Identify customer challenges and insert a compelling AMD value proposition to address challenges
  • Build confidence and awareness around AMD offerings within the sales teams at key OEMs and resellers



The Inside Sales BDE will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Demonstrated success in a comparable role, developing strong customer relationships which have led to sales success
  • An established background in technology sales with at least 5 years’ progressive experience
  • Business relationship with ecosystem partners such as Microsoft, AWS, Google and others.
  • Strong historical interaction and relationship with Partner Sales team of key OEM’s (For example Fujitsu, NEC, HPE, Dell, Lenovo and others)
  • Previous experience selling into Enterprise and Government highly desirable. 
  • Demonstrated effectiveness working in a cross-matrix organization
  • Thrives in an autonomous environment



• Undergraduate degree as a minimum
