The Role:
We are looking for Cloud Business Development Manager to drive the consumption and sell-through of AMD EPYC based instances in the Cloud Service Providers portfolio. This commissioned sales position based in Tokyo will work with our teams to help manage the relationships with the Global Cloud Sales, Business Development, FAEs and Partner Network. You'll join our team of top-tier sales professionals including FAEs, BDEs, Marketing Managers, who greatly value trust, hard work, collaboration and communication. The ideal candidate needs to have a background in servers/workstation/GPU and experience working with end users and multinational corporations. Successful experience selling into enterprise accounts required.

 

The Person: 
•    Experience working with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud and other Cloud Service providers, channel partners, and/or marketing teams to build and deploy training, sales tools, incentive programs and joint GTM strategies
•    An understanding of the data-center solutions and knowledge of sales cycle and motion for Commercial Customers choosing cloud solutions
•    A working knowledge and current experience with co-selling with large accounts to end customers as well as the partner network (ie. distribution, NSPs, SI, SMB)
•    Proven skill of demonstrating data into your decision-making process for investments and communicating progress and updates on the state of the business
•    Strong organization, communication, and account management skills

 

Key Responsibilities:
•    Guide and work with the AMD and Cloud Service providers teams to develop and execute a sales strategy and GTM plan to drive consumption and end-customer demand; 
•    Help identify and expand relationships with key cloud service providers in Japan/APAC 
•    Support on sales pipeline for Cloud Service Providers, sales program management, and AMD field communication.
•    The ultimate goal to demonstrate an increased footprint in AMD share in the commercial market and drive value to Cloud Service Providers.
 Preferred Experience:
•    Proven experience in global sales and marketing, preferably with a background in semiconductors (minimum of 5 years)
•    Experience with commercial sales strategy development, GTM planning, account management is key
•    Working experience with Global Cloud Service providers preferred


Academic Credentials:
University or college degree in Business or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
