Sales Acct Manager

THE ROLE:

Seeking a high-energy account sales manager with a great track record of winning and influencing business in the channel that consists of multiple business function for industries such as Consumer, Gaming, Content Creation, SMB, PC Like Embedded, Workstation and Server, etc. You are an essential member to our Japan Channel group, APJ Component organizations that deliver on AMD’s strategic growth opportunity. As account sales manager, you will lead the business development and revenue growth with strategic actions and mutual relationship in your accounts and ecosystem partners.

 

THE PERSON:

The account sales manager needs to be a dynamic leader who can influence and negotiate with decision makers such as CEO, CSO, CMO, director of each organization. Account sales not only builds out our sales strategy but also delivers on revenue growth and be the representative of AMD. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will contribute to and be responsible for the revenue growth of our Component products in your account and its end customers working with Eco system Partners, ISV, ISP, etc.

  • Making account revenue growth plan and strategy and executing.
  • Implement strong methodology for forecasting revenue and manage and track your pipelines with CRM.
  • Making and maintaining strategic relationship with customers and their executives.
  • Accelerate adoption of AMD’s Technologies and Products in your account’s solutions.
  • Accelerate Desktop/Notebook/Server CPU and GPU market share in your account’s solutions.
  • Influence customer for demand generation and expansion of compute intensive usage models.
  • Working with eco-system partners to make solutions for customers.
  • Working closely with channel partners to over deliver on revenue targets.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in sales or business development in distribution/channel business.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skill and be a self-starter, working with minimal direction with logical and strategic thinking.
  • Good English communication skill in email and telephone-conference, fluent in Japanese
  • Successful business development experiences with your initiatives resulting exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong relationship and knowhow of Gaming, Content Creation applications.
  • A history of implementing successful long-term relationship with customers, especially executives. 

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Graduated or MBA a plus.
