THE PERSON:

Deliver on AMD volume, share, mix and revenue goals – Achieve allocated sales targets for nominated territory.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for developing and implementing overall territory sales and marketing strategy
  • Implement and manage sales programs with key partners
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns
  • Manage key relationships with organized retailers.
  • Manage MNC partners, drive AMD consideration and ranging of AMD enabled platforms
  • Manage key distribution relationships, drive awareness and secure buy in
  • Timely updating Salesforce.com
  • Ensure all points in the path to market chain are:
    • Aware of AMD programs
    • Understand AMD value prop
    • Educated on AMD road map and USPs
    • Understand our channel engagement strategies and activities
  • Gather and report weekly market intelligence
  • Ensure program partners are reporting via 3rd party system (model N)

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience as a BDM or similar role (Eg Product Marketing), experience with dealing with MNCs and retailers looked upon favorably.
  • Track record of generating new sales from existing clients and new business development
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Japanese
  • Strong decision making skills
  • Ability to identify market opportunities, develop sales plans and execute those plans to fruition
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint & Word.
  • Excel – Understanding of Pivot Tables
  • Some regional and occasional international travel required

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Degree in any equivalent qualification
