Title: IP Program Manager


The Role: This is an exciting fast paced role to manage multiple IP projects to deliver IPs to SOC. These IPs go into various applications from Laptops, Servers, Graphics cards and customized solutions.


The Person: The ideal candidate will be organized who can stay on top of things. Someone who is good with follow through, familiar with Agile program management and tools, and can organize the IP teamwork activities for efficiency and scalability. 


- Participating in the development of project plans and schedules; must be able to develop and improve processes for project tracking and risk mitigation
- Supporting Engineering management in planning of project Human and Computing resource needs
- Supporting Engineering management to drive execution excellence, including key metrics like Time-to-Market, R&D Efficiency, and Silicon Quality Indicators
- Working collaboratively with the AMD Program Management community to track Key Metrics and help continuous process improvement

- Defining and managing key budget and Head Count deliverables/schedules and driving cross functional activities
- Managing horizontally across several functional organizations, including Finance and Human Resources
- Working hand-in-hand with engineering counterparts across the global sites to plan/align budget, head count, operational efficiencies 


Preferred Skill Sets:
- Project Management experience within the semiconductor industry

- Agile Project Management and familiarity with industry standard tools including Jira
- Good presentation and leadership skills; with ability to lead technical discussions
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Experience in managing complex, interrelated projects, programs, and functions
- Team player with a commitment to meeting deadlines and an aptitude to thrive in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment 


- University degree, Electrical Engineering degree & PMP Certification would be an asset
